André Borges, born in Oporto  (Portugal)  in 1980, makes the first contact with circus techniques in 2000.  Initially self-taught, he evolves mainly in juggling and balance, parallel with the development of clown characters, later acquiring further expertise attending workshops in Portugal and Finland. Between 2002 and 2006 enters the national plan of circus animation and forms the Circus Company “Creative Circus”, with which he travels to Portugal, Spain and Switzerland, presenting  stage shows for children and creating shows on the streets and at events. In 2006 enters the School of Circus Carampa - Madrid, for a two year course, furthering the base of all the circus techniques, specializing himself in balance, mainly unicycle, with the Russian professor and trainer Vasily Protsenko. Between 2006 and 2008, he is part of the formation of the “Sinestesia” circus company (Madrid), working (together with dancers, musicians and circus artists) on a project in Portugal - “Movement”, the official inauguration show of the expositions of the group G10+ and develops, among others, a unicycle circus act “Artistic Performance - Balance”.  With this act, he tours  Catalonia (Spain) in summer 2008, as a part of the Circus show of the Palmerini family (Sevilla). In the same year, collaborates with other companies of circus, performs solo shows and creates the Circus company “CIRKUSTANZA”, with the professional juggler Jorge Lix. In 2009 is invited to take a part in the newest project of the famous Portuguese Musician André Sardet, “Mundo de Cartão ao vivo”, an innovative, live Circus show, touring the most significant theatres of Portugal. From this tour, a dvd is produced. The last year until now, was performing on cruise ships around the world.
